Christine McLeroy Mueller, DVM
After graduating from Olive Branch High School in 1989, Dr. Mueller continued her education at Mississippi State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. In 1996, she achieved her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mueller opened Oak Tree Animal Clinic on family land that was previously owned by her grandparents in January of 2014.
Dr. Mueller’s special interest in veterinary medicine is general practice, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Mississippi State Veterinary Medical Association.
Her family includes her husband, Joe and two daughters. Brittany Middleton is married to Brandon, and Lydia Harris is engaged to fiance, Josh Gresset. Dr. Mueller also has a boisterous grandson named Waylon. Her pet family includes Darcy, a spirited eleven year old standard poodle, and boomer, a mild-mannered, 6-year old Goldendoodle.
Dr. Mueller attends New Prospect Baptist Church in Lewisburg, Mississippi, and she loves Jesus. She enjoys spending summers at PickWick Lake with her family. A fun fact about Dr. Mueller is that she grew up on a dairy farm, and that is where she realized her love of animals.
